Introduction The topic of this review is the X300 Premod case by Xoxide.com. This is a great case for anyone, the hardcore computer enthusiast, or the beginner. It has great looks, great airflow, and a free cold cathode light. But, just like everything else it has its down sides. This review will expose both the good and the bad.
Most computer gurus would disagree that Premod cases are really nice. But the fact is you can get some really good ones for reasonably cheap. If that isn’t enough, you don’t have to do any work. There’s a standard in Premod cases, they all have a window. Without a window, it’s just a regular case most of the time. Secondly, they all must have extra fan holes. More fans equal better airflow, better airflow equals a cooler computer, and a cooler computer is what we’re all shooting for isn’t it?
The normal for fans in Premod cases are 2 in the back, and one in the front. Sometimes (like in the case of the X300), they put one in the side panel and another on top. It doesn’t stop there, oh no, they throw in a few extras to give you more bang for the buck. This varies with the dealer though, so shop around.
