Page 2 of 4 Inside The Box Aliph clearly wishes to set this headset apart from all the rest - it comes packaged in an acrylic display case designed to sell you on its aesthetics, and black embossed text on the front proclaims that ‘Noise is Nothing,' indicating that this model is one of the new generation of Bluetooth headsets to offer noise cancellation features. This headset is currently being sold alongside the Apple iPhone, and its design and performance are positioned to appeal to an upmarket crowd.
Inside the box, after sliding away the black cardboard cover and opening the front acrylic window, tiny internal boxes hold a well-designed power adapter with a USB charging cord, such that one can charge the headset with the included power transformer or directly from a computer's USB port. As no two ears are alike, Aliph thoughtfully included five different styles of rubber earbud and two sizes of earloop optimized for left or right ears. My ears are very particular but I managed to pick out several favorites - also, Jabra's Eargels that can be purchased as accessories make excellent substitutes for the included hardware. The stock earloop fit fine but can easily be swapped out by pulling it from the hole in the headset that its metal end slides through - by putting it through the hole on the underside of the headset, one can use the headset on the left ear. The earbuds are even cleverer - they contain an internal housing that allows them to twist on securely with a 90 degree turn and stay locked onto the headset.
