Page 3 of 4 The manual contains some of the worst engrish you'll ever read, but it's still understandable if you're use to dealing with engrish and the pictures help.
Now I know what you're thinking: "What if the batteries die?" They've thought of that too by including an emergency battery powered adaptor with the kit.
See that little plastic covered hole? Remove the plastic and you can use the 4 AAA-battery power adaptor to power the doorknob in an emergency. The engrish manual calls that plug the "Power faucet of emergency".
Installation is a snap since everything is inside the doorknob, no cables to run or holes to drill, making it perfect for apartments, dorm rooms or any door that you don't want to put additional holes in. If you can replace a doorknob you can easily install this in about 15 minutes. Just like a hotel, when the door is closed, the doorknob locks automatically. |
