Introduction

Intel's E6300 is the best CPU for the price. Overclocked, it outperforms AMD's current offerings and equals that of a $1000.00 processor. Long has it been since we've seen such an amazing overclocker, and the E6300 will certainly go down in history. It's the perfect match for our AB9-Pro Dream Machine on a Budget. We hope this will serve as a guide for those looking to get the most for their money, while at the same time having a computer that is nothing short of spectacular in terms of performance.

Being a budget dream machine, we have carefully selected components that will offer the best performance/price ratio. We have selected parts that will last, and allow one to easily upgrade later down the road. This system is the perfect starting point for those on a tight budget, but by no means have we cut corners using low grade parts. Where any extra's are concerned, like cooling, we went totally stock. We even used only the zip ties included with the case.

As a guide, other components could have been used, however we feel we've done a great job with our baseline selection. For this system, every last penny counts. The money saved from building a system is tremendous in itself, and with the E6300 priced well under $200.00, we've pushed the savings even further.
