There is one mistake though. The Northwood P4 ranged from 1.6Ghz to 3.4Ghz.

Yep very good article. Its pretty common knowledge intel dominated the x86 platfom till amd brought out it's Athlon 64. So it would nice to include this in the time line as well. Plus the fact AMD had the performance crown for x number of years.

Anyway I was hoping you could also include more on Intels Itanium range & maybe even the rambus fiasco.

We were giving readers a general idea. The 1.6A Northwood was released due to demand. It just happend to be a good overclocker. The 3.4GHz Northwood was never a major hit. At any rate, we've updated the article.
