Conclusions The ECS N8800GTS-320MX is a respectable performer for the money, and with it's minimalist bundle it'll currently be one of, if not THE least expensive 8800 GTS 320MB cards on the market. We were able to scale performance a good 20% with over clocking which isn't too bad either. Our comparison with Vista x64 Ultimate edition also spells out that Nvidia G80 driver support in Vista, even under the less popular x64 edition, is on par with XP. Except in the case of OpenGL. It's a bit disappointing, and hopefully an issue that will be rectified quickly. Scott's Opinion: For the money, this is a nice way to slide into next generation GPU architecture and still have some lunch money in your pocket. The card should perform quite adequately in most all games, especially if you're resolution bound by your monitor to modes most humans actually use. Not all of us have 30” wide screens. {mos_sb_discuss:7}
