Ran across this one trolling for news today. Nvidia has a new demo floating around which is stunningly realistic. A rendered head, incidentally of actor Doug Jones, with the usual realistic lighting and shadows, but also with realistic skin rendering. Well worth a look, just to see a creepy spinning head.
