TwinMOS introduces USB2.0 Mobile Disk-M9 supports Windows Vista^TM ReadyBoost function

March 20, 2007, Taipei The Microsoft Windows Vista^TMis not only required high-capacity DRAM modules, but also boosts the growth of NAND flash memory from ReadyBoost function. The ReadyBoost technology of Microsoft Vista^TM can automatically distribute the capacity of any external memory device (EMD), such as mobile disks, and assign the excessive space for system use to accelerate the operating system. In this case, flash memory will be used as virtual memory on Microsoft Vista^TM. In addition to accelerating the system startup function, it reduces hard drive access to extend drive life. When users unplug the mobile disk from the system, the data on the mobile disk will not be lost, nor will the system operation be affected. Moreover, the system will run at its original efficiency.

TwinMOS introduces USB2.0 Mobile Disk-M9 supporting ReadyBoost function after previous announcement of all series Mobile Disks pass Windows Vista certification. M9 is designed with compact size and lightweight features for consumers' convenience. M9 is a fashionable-looking design with a thumb size and that will surely attract modern customers. The capacity of M9 will be up to 8GB that it is compatible with Windows(Bista/XP/2000...), Mac10.1+ and Linux2.4+. The read/write speed of M9 are ten times faster than USB1.1 that will allow consumers to manage data easily. Nevertheless, the password protection and write-protect switch functions will help consumers to keep data safely. On the other hand, M9 also requires no external driver that will help users easily enjoy high speed through PCs, notebooks, and other digital devices.
