I could do some additional tests at this point, but I feel it'd be wasted effort. I've had the drive now for about 3 weeks and have already almost decimated a 50 spindle of 16x +R along with a few CD burns and I've not had issue one. If you want to spend a few more bucks, Liteon's newer 165H6S does Lightscribe and Mt. Rainier, but with this available for $32.99 from NewEgg, you can't really go wrong.

Bang for the buck, this is an excellent drive. For those of you needing a new DVD burner, or those of you with an ancient CD burner in need of an update (and from all the people that *still* ask me about VCD and SVCD, there are obviously a lot of you out there), I can heartily recommend the Liteon 160P6S.
