liteonlogo DVD burners are about as ubiquitous as McDonalds and Wal-Mart. You practically cannot buy a desktop or mobile system without one. For the system purchaser, builder or upgrader, a DVD burner represents cheap reliable storage. Walk into any large retailer and you're likely to see several models that might catch your eye, probably too many (though nowhere near the mind numbing confusion wrought from trying to buy a graphics card these days. I'll save that thought for a future rant).

One inexpensive choice that might interest you is Liteon's 160P6S, a relatively new 16x DVD burner. Sporting a respectable range of burning speeds and media types along with a very low price and Liteon's reputation for quality, this might be a burner worthy of replacing your old one, or finally convincing those few of you left who only have CD burners to quit procrastinating.

You know the drill, let's go take a look.
